There are so many ways for an expensive, "destination" restaurant to go overboard, making itself nothing more than a special-occasion spectacle, but Ristorante Ritz manages to get everything just right. Situated on the ground floor of the hotel, the space is refined without being too designy or too posh and an outside terrace is open during the warmer months, and the food, much of which has a northern Italian Tuscan influence, is also perfectly balanced: you won't find needlessly flashy fusion cooking or heavy sauces that obliterate subtle flavors, just perfectly presented heart warming Italian cuisine.
